Full List of Cruelty Free Beauty Brands

After talking with a few of my friends, who are also beauty lovers like I am, we got onto the topic of beauty brands that are cruelty free. Some of my friends had said that they never payed any attention to it, while others solely bought cruelty free products always. I was one of the ones that had never payed much attention to it, until now. I know that it’s a huge issue in the beauty industry that has been sort of kept in the shadows, and a lot of people are just now trying to bring it into the light. I have been doing a lot of research on what exactly cruelty free and vegan is lately, and there is a fine line between the two. Cruelty free means that the company does not test on animals, while vegan means that there are no animals products in the product itself, but it may or may not be “cruelty free”. Now, I’m not going to lie and say that all of my beauty products are 100% cruelty free or vegan, because the majority of them aren’t. But, since doing a lot of research on this topic I have decided to try to slowly incorporate more and more cruelty free products into my beauty routine and daily life in general! I feel like it would be a huge waste to the environment and to an animal’s life to simply throw out all of my beauty products right now and start over, but I am for sure going to buy and test out a lot more cruelty free or vegan products in the future. Through research and a lot of digging online, I have complied this list to spread awareness of this issue, because I am sure that if more people know just how many brands are cruelty free, they would be a lot less frightened to make the switch. I hope that this lists helps you out, and if I missed anything please feel free to let me know! Also, feel free to give me any suggestions on your favorite products and I’ll test them out and possibly do an updated cruelty free favorites for you guys. Enjoy!

    1. Yeah I’m trying to make the switch, slowly but surely! haha and it kind of surprised me how many are actually cruelty free. It’s awesome!

  1. Smashbox and Stila were just re-added to the list I thought as they finally updated/fixed their policies (some just fixed the wording on their websites to reflect they were cruelty free).
